For an FZ190 with 8400M GT, HDMI, s-video, or vga outputs.

Something nice for me to digitally paint on.

The biggest you can support with you hdmi would be 1920x1200. Dell has 24 and 27". westinghouse has 30+" screens.

    Thank you for the input.

Which of those screens have the best picture clarity, color reproduction, etc..?

Which brands in general are the best?

The Dell 27" has gotten pretty good reviews.

How many DVI outputs do you have? That 27" might need dual DVI inputs.

You can't go by brand. One monitor will be super awesome, and the next model over will be crap. Personally, I've got a Samsung 226bw that I've been underwhelmed by, though I managed to get pretty decent colors with a Huey (monitor calibration tool). I've got an Acer (let's see...) AL2423W (I think) that I really love, colors and contrast-wise. It's actually 8-bit, I believe, unlike the Samsung. It's got a great viewing angle too (the Samsung... not so good). The former should run about $300 and be 22" @ 1680x1050, and the latter should be... $500? and 24" @ 1920x1200.
