So, my dv6t will be here shortler. So far, I already have a wonderful western digital 500gb external, and wonderful z-2300 logitech speakers .

The two other assecories I'm getting are a cordless, laser mouse from logitech, and a notebook cooler for my gaming needs.

Here are what I'm deciding between, but I'm open to new ideas as well:

    Notebook cooler:
    NZXT Cyro LX
    Zalman NC1500

    Mouse:
    VX Nano Cordless
    G7

    any suggestions?

the notebook cooler will stay at home on my desk - the mouse will be with my all the time (only thing I dislike about HP laptops are the touchpad)

The Zalman ZM-NC1000, 1500, or 2000 are good ones

Since I'm only going to be doing light gaming (guild wars, legions, diablo 3) is it worth it to pay the 80 bucks for g7?

Or should I just get a 30-50 dollar wireless laser mouse from logitech?

Just the 30-50 dollar one, I really cant condone the price difference... I really can't see the difference between gaming and normal mouses either lol

Go for the microsoft explorer mouse mini it works on any surface (blue track) and is really good for gamming.

Actually, I think I'm going to go with this mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104251

Its the Logitech RX 720 - 3 button, wireless, laser, USB, and 1000dpi. Its also 40 dollars, instead of 80 for the G7. Although the g7 does have more buttons, and higher dpi - the downsides are that it has WAY shorter battery life, and it 80 dollars, 40 dollars MORE thant he RX 720 - and costs twice as much!! Yikes!

I really dont think I would be able to tell a HUGE difference between the RX 720 and the G7, but then again who knows.

Im going to order the RX 720, and I'll post my reviews on here, especially for gaming. Its worth it for me to save 40 bucks, thats the price of the Zalman notebook cooler!

I like my G7, not only is it comfortable and a good mouse but the idea it comes with 2 batteries and a charger makes it worth a lot more since I have had it for years now and never had a dead battery or had to buy any batteries.

I got mine on sale for $50 but I found it for $67 shipped from a good store

Though this color is not like mine, cant say I like it too much.

    best gaming mouse:
    sidewinder x8
    razer mamba

one is best on almost all surface(bluetrack), another has highest dpi (4000 vs 5400)

both are wireless/cord charger so you can use it endlessly
razer has a really good UI on customization

for wired: logitech g9(upgrade) or lachesis are good

He says he wants a cordless mouse.

The only two cordless gaming-grade mice I can think of are the Logitech G7 and the Razer Mamba, but the Mamba is way out of your price league.

If you can handle a corded mouse (believe me, it's not as big an issue as you'd think), try the Logitech MX518. Less than $50, and the best optical gaming mouse ever.

FYI, sidewinder x8 IS a wireless (and for you, cordless happy? :p) gaming mouse

it has a cord(usb) to recharge when battery is low and as well to use it. it cost ~100CAD in canada

For a gaming mouse you should propably get a logitech G9 for a cooler some good choices are Zalman ZM-NC1000, 1500, or 2000 as said above from MrButterBiscuits.

    Technika Advanced Wireless Optical Mouse

    Mega tesco cheap

2 second setup (just plug it in)

1000dpi (plenty for me anyway) with a dpi switch.

Batteries apparently last for up to 6 month. (2 AAA)

    Mega comfortable

    I love it lol.

Looks much better infront of you.

Micro transmitter slots under mouse too.

    Nothing fancy, very great product.
