    Which is the best lock for the best price?

    Also. Is it worth getting a laptop bag? or just adding foam padding to an existing bag?

    if you already have a bag, then get a protective sleeve. for the lock, anything from kensington is good. targus also makes locks. just remember that its a deterrent given that they can be picked quite easily by skilled thieves. you can check out my sig for my sugggestions on a good lock and sleeve.
