I am very big into music and I would like to get portable speakers to replace my laptop speakers. These speakers aren't actually that bad compared to other laptop speakers, but they just aren't enough. I want a good "full" sound. I don't necessarily need bass that will thump the floor, but just enough so it can be heard. With that said, I don't want too much bass where the treble is drowned out. Ideally, I would want the speakers to either be a sound-bar, or two separate speakers, or even a very small 2.1 sound system. As these speakers would have to be portable, they would have to be usb powered. Does anyone know of a good, portable speaker system? So far, I've found these two that have good reviews: ( http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Ster...0-000524/dp/B004ULOZPQ/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_4 ) or ( http://www.amazon.com/HP-Compact-Speakers-BR387AA-ABA/dp/B004URBZ4O/ref=dp_ob_title_ce ) Any help will be appreciated! :)

I have a pair of V20's somewhere they are pretty good but not amazing.

A friend had the V10's despite being the lower model I almost think they sounded better and they are cheaper and more portable.

As far as the basic logitechs go V10 for normal sound, V10 if you want to hear some bass for say music.

Target stores and online have the z205 on sale for $15 each

Buy 2 and clip one on each side of your laptop screen. You can configure each one to be a dedicated left and right speaker with this setup:

Congratulations. You just got a pretty good, really loud portable speaker setup for around $40.

This may sounds silly, but why do you need a portable system? For what occasion?

I would spontaneously think you'd be better of with headphone + good speakers depending on where you are.
