This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     What do you guys think is the best webcam for notebooks in the $20-$40 range?

    You gonna have to spend a lil more than that unfortunately. If you're lucky you can find the logitech quickcam pro for notebooks, the last generation for about $50. Its not the Carl Zeiss glass lens but its ridiculously good. I own one personally. Got for $50 on sale because the new model was coming out. Best quality short of the new model guaranteed.

    Apple's "iSight" has amazing quality and performance, but the Windows compatible Firewire version has been discontinued.
