I currently have a Logitech G602 Wireless mouse and since I ordered a new lappy, I was wondering is it time to change my mouse? Is there anything better than the G602 in wireless mice? Is the Sensei Wireless better or shall I stick to what I have?

I never use those extra GKeys on my G602 so they just get in the way. -

Stick to Logitech, they're the only producer of mices that survive a real poweruser. I had several Razers during my 15y of hardcore online gaming, and most didn't survive the 2nd year. The Logitech I have has a 100 times better quality and works flawless for about 3y now already. Logitech builds mices that really function, they work, they're tested for hardcore-usage, and that's where the other producers fail miserably. Their mice look better, they feel better, but one needs a new one every year, that's my experience.

Plus, my G602 has many of those programmable G-keys on the left side which I never use, they come in my way when trying to find the back/forward buttons on the mouse so this Sensei sounds better. -
Lol
. I just googled the Sensei for the first time, and it costs 180€
.
Tbh., I don't know the Sensei Wireless personally, but I'd never even think about paying that price for a mouse! It looks exactly like my Logitech G400s which serves me without any flaws for years now already. I agree that it looks nice, but the price is ridiculous, there is nothing that that mouse could offer, that would make it worth that much!
I wish you all the best with it, but if it'd break after 2y, you'd have payed 100€ / y for a mouse, a replacable product! I've played mice to their death at a 1 / y ratio before I finally stayed with Logitech, and all of those were the most expensive, most-"hot" gaming mice that were available. As written, I can't judge, but if I were in your position, I'd send it back. The programmable G-keys really are no problem, when you get used to them. I used a Logitech MMO-gaming mouse for 2y, that one has 10 or 15 buttons on the left side, after a year, I hit 8-10 of them without 100% accuracy. It's really only a matter of getting used to them, 180€ for a mouse that offers no info on longevity like Logitech i. e. does, is of this planet. -
The Logitech G602 is pretty much the best wireless gaming mouse you can get... especially with the optical sensor (superior tracking accuracy, and lack of acceleration, compared to inflated high-dpi laser sensors).
Put two lithium AA batteries in there for weight, and you have a center-balanced mouse that's amazing.
Steelseries Sensei Wireless isn't something I'd recommend. It isn't just a Steelseries Sensei, plus wireless. It's heavy, bulky, has short battery life, and uses a laser sensor (inferior to optical).Spartan@HIDevolution and Seraiel like this. -
I don't mean to resurrect a dead thread, but I just picked up a Logitech G700s: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BFOEY3Y/ref=psdc_11036491_t1_B00E4MQODC
Does anyone here know how it compares to the G602? -

1) Logitech G700 is much heavier, and rear-weighted. When you put 2x Lithium AA batteries in a Logitech G602, it becomes a lighter center-balanced mouse, which is better for mousing movement.
2) Logitech G700 uses a high-DPI laser sensor; which many consider to be inferior due to movement acceleration and unreliable tracking on "imperfect" mousing surfaces. The Logitech G602 uses an optical sensor, which is superior to laser sensors when it comes to acceleration and reliability of tracking.
3) Battery life of the Logitech G602 is far superior to the G700. Logitech G602 runs about 2-3 months (on Lithium AA batteries). The Logitech G700 runs about 1-2 days. However, the Logitech G700 is rechargeable, whereas the Logitech G602 requires you to manually switch AA batteries when the batteries die. -

The internals, design, and mechanics of the G700 and G700s are identical. The only difference is the appearance and material of the outer shell.
So my comments on the G700 apply to both the S and non-S versions. -
That said, I currently own a Logitech MX Performance, which your points #1 and #3 also apply to. I happen to like the MX's weight and don't really mind the battery life. As for point #2, hmmm I'd really like to be able to test that for myself. I'll look into that. -
I have the G700s but I wish I had gotten a G602 instead, mainly for the battery life. I have a brand new Eneloop Pro in it, polling rate at minimum, power saver enabled, and even without gaming, I still need to recharge every 2-3 days.
Best Wireless Gaming Mouse? Anything better than G602?
