    Hi, i am looking for the best wireless N router, its for home use with 5 computers in it. i would like a strong signal in the entire house, as well as the patio,; the house is large and the more range the better.
    some of the cards are not N, some are G. so compatibility is essential.
    Mac and Vista compatibility is essential.
    i am looking for the fastest possible web connection, downloading isnt a huge part of my work, but often happens.

    i saw a dual band linksys for 249 at bestbuy as well as a dlink extreme n for 129.
    any ideas?

    dual band linksys for the dual radios and simultaneous broadcast on 2.4 & 5GHz

    the n routers don't increase your internet speed, they increase your network speed(LAN)

    i pay for extreme high speed from videotron, but my current dlink hovers around 54...
    thanks
    will my internet be faster thru an N router or will i just be able to transfer files on the network faster. as i am looking for faster web experience, and heavier traffic.
