What are some of the better bluetooth headphones available for use with a bluetooth enabled laptop??
I'd mainly want to listen to music, and would prefer them to have the 'ear canal' style earphones that fit inside the ear.
I like the look of the Motorola S9, but from what I read, it doesn't seem to be meant for laptop, it only mentions phones and ipod....
    Thanks!

S9's carry the most recommendations that I can think of and are at a good price point. anything is meant for a laptop so I dont get where your coming from unless you mean the style of it.

I've heard good things about the S9's as well. The (older) Motorola HT 820 are good too.

I guess what has me confused is that any bluetooth headset I read about, like the S9, seems to imply that it is only meant for use with a phone, or an ipod. None of them really mention listening to music from the computer, etc.
Maybe I'll try the S9. Can always return it if it doesn't work...

It works fine, bluetooth is bluetooth is bluetooth. The only thing that could keep them from not working is if your bluetooth adapter doesnt have the protocols to run them (stereo headphone protocol is A2DP) a laptop (any newer ones with built in bluetooth) will have it. A older phone or something probably wont.

I dont know if protocols are entirely hardware dependent or if they can be upgraded/updated via software. I think its more of the 1st because otherwise older phones would update there protocols to use new bluetooth devices.

The best Bluetooth headphones for a computer are the Sony DR-BT50.

Sound is awesome. They are not for working out due to size, but for at the desk or around the home or cafe, they rock.

You shoud make sure the Bluetooth in your computer is version 2.0+EDR. Unlike what was posted above - Bluetooth is not Bluetooth is not Bluetooth. It must support A2DP.

They work with Skype, and will work with cell phone. I wouldn't use it for cell, as the mic is in the headset and you'll sound distant to people on the other end.

I use it for just computer and love it.

I said that, so you must have not read my entire post. What I was explaning to him is that there is no difference from bluetooth in a phone or a computer. If you read his post he was sort of mislead into thinking it only works for one type of device.
