    Hello everyone,
I am looking for a convenient bluetooth mouse.

However I´d like to know wether the 20 bucks extra for the 555b are worth the money? Or are there any other googd mice?

    Best regards,
    Michael

I prefer 555b for the hyper scrolling and newer design,
    better laser (1000 vs what?800??),
    better battery life,
    extra button
woww.. that's too much for 2 bucks! LOL

PS. I never use both, but IMO there must be some improvement in newer products

Get the M55b..I have this it's awesome...The mouse feels good in your hand. Like you 'have control'.

    Hyperfast Scrolling:
It means that the scroll wheel spins freely for up to seven seconds, and then spanning hundreds of pages with a single flick of the finger!

The ratchet-scrolling mechanism "under the hood" lol! :)

I've been using the V470 for more than 6 months now. No issues and it works just fine. I'm not quite sure what makes it not that great a mouse. Granted it's not a gaming mouse, but works just fine for photoshop and daily use.

If so, once you receive it...please provide some feedback. I think you will really like it, BTW!

Nor are we sure what makes it "just fine?" Perhaps each of you would care to give us inquiring minds one example of each?

I've been looking for a new mouse to get ride of this cable, but I have no idea what to look for. PC World magazine never does any comparison review on them.

For my use, which includes photoshop, it's been great. It doesn't disconnect, battery life is very good, looks nice, easy to set up, logitech has a great warranty department, it's not very expensive and it feels very nice in the hand. It's just a simple, reliable bluetooth mouse.

if they do, how long does it takes usually??

For the v470, less than a second. Or at least it seems like that.

"new mouse to get rid of this cable" but then you have a mouse, and a charger with 2 cables to carry around.
get a small mouse with cable, simple, light, easy, doesnt need charging.

Agree with Crayonyes, before bluetooth and laser, wireless mouse did have some drawbacks, now they are are awesome, I don't change the 2 AAA batteries except every 3-4 months, I never turn the mouse off or on, and it always works when computer is on, the laser bluetooth does have the advantage over "cabled" mice in that the cable is not dragging the mouse, the cable dragging has to affect mouse performance and accuracy..
My only wish is that I would have purchased a more ergonomic mouse, I have the sony vaio bluetooth mouse and currently looking to buy a larger one because I have very big hands, and the tiny mouse is giving me carpal tunnel.

I prefer the Microsoft 5000. Compact form factor for true portability, and with all the functionality you need unless you're a dedicated gamer (in which case you wouldn't be looking for a Bluetooth mouse anyhoo). I like the fact that the MS mouse has a back button under the heal of the thumb for use with a browser. Most efficient use of time if you're online a lot with your laptop.
