I disagree on few things with Mamba (as I already pointed out in few other threads, but you seem to have some vendetta on Razer or Razer Mamba, obviously).
Mamba definitely has deficiencies (having used it for more than a year now, I feel I know which those are), however those are none of those that are mentioned above, apart from it's price. I'll repeat - the mouse is used in TWO DIMENSIONS. If you lift your mouse in Z-axis, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. Unless you have really limited space that's not what how you're supposed to be handling the mouse - but then again, Mamba is not aimed at customers looking for the ultra-portable mouse. I don't see where that claim is made. The fact that is wireless is helpful because you're not dragging the cable when you move the mouse around. The actual problems are buggy software, lousy customer support, no good low battery indicator and the inability to have the mouse always on wireless unless you computer supports "always-on" USB and you remember to put in on the dock (or plug the cable directly) when overnight.
Also Logitech G7 is pretty decent wireless mouse. It comes with 2 switchable batteries, so you can always use it on wireless (while you use one battery, the other one is charging).
Logitech G700 has some small movements tracking bug, which was (conveniently) left out - which may be software, rather than sensor problem however.

But I think that, Razer Mamba is great for people with a large hand, and the G700 for small-med.. no?
I think I will buy the Roccat and that's it (Have to know the size first) -
alstrike and anyone who has used the kone, i was wondering what the weight was like, i'm looking for a mouse that is light and about the same size as a microsoft intellimouse
too bad the g500 looks so rustic -
Overall, a top-notch mouse, and one of Razer's least expensive as well. I highly recommend it. -
Does the lights help the tracking power?
G700 for all hand sizes
What unreal25 said, yeah when the G700 first came out, the software actually had some small kinks here and there. Everything is smoothed out though, no problems at all and worry free.
Battery life for the G700 really depends on your settings. If I have it on my everyday (not gaming) set up, where it goes to standby so it conserves battery life, lowest polling, yeah can get 3 days easily off a full charge if I leave it on during the night; which I never don't. So it's longer than that.
For gaming, with maximum polling, it'll be a good days worth if you were gaming straight from morning to... early next morning. Charge when you go to sleep and good to go.
But in terms of mouse size.. Here's some pictures I took when I used to have the orochi last summer. Compared to my G700 which I use now.
Orochi hand size
G700 hand size
Palming the Orochi bottom and top view
More like finger palming, can't even palm it, more claw/tipping

And if you want to get REALLY specific, G700 to hand measurement. So you can compare for yourself where you stand.
hope that helps if you're thinking about the G700
Definitely with shroom, if you're on a budget; DA is definitely a choice to highly consider -
Very nice post, and good pictures. I'll give you rep for it when mine recharges

thank you thank you, you know me; just trying to help out

Best $7 mouse pad I've bought. -
You know it! Mouse glides on it like butttahhh on warm toast
-
Wouldn't that get a bunch of crumbs in your imaging sensor?
-
pretty much, it's a mouse; it'll eat up the crumbs haha
-
Lol yea^^ 6000 DPI will be good for 32 INCH tv FHD right?
-
It doesn't make a difference whether you're using 1080p on a 15" laptop screen or a 32" HDTV. At any rate, unless you're using hilariously high sensitivity (we're talking less than an inch to do a 360 degree turn), you probably don't need any more than 2,000 DPI or so.
That said, the new Razer dual optical/laser sensor has this thing beat at 6,400 DPI -
-
I quite like the Speedlink Kudos 5000dpi and the Qpad 5k Pro Gaming both really nice gaming mice for the High Sens

What I really like about roccat kone+ is the easy shift button that they have. But i've seen many owners who complain about the flimsy build of the scroll wheel.
I was wondering if any of Razer's mouse, like Deathadder for example, has a way of configuring the macro buttons to serve as an instant dpi changer?
I was hoping to make it work like the "sniper button" of the rat 7, or like the easy shift button of roccat. Thanks in advance! -
Weird enough, the Roccat Kone[+] actually cause my lappy to go wonky after a while, along with cursor problems that has been prevalent in various forums.
& if the higher the DPI,the better the mouse, then the Steelseries Sensei would ''pwn" the Roccat [+].
Best gaming mice? Roccat Kone [+] (6000 DPI!!!)
