Budget: $100 (maybe more if they're really good)
    Use: skype, vent, ts, etc.

Something comfortable, clear, that won't make me deaf :p

What's the best headset within those requirements?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you like behind the neck, or over the head?

If you like behind the neck, i will suggest These.
My cousin uses them, and he says they're the only headphones he can stand to wear more than 2 hours without feeling "squeezed". They've got inline mic-mute and volume, and don't cost $100 :p.

Consider the Sennheiser PC166. Plantronics makes a few very good headsets, but I forget the model names.
