    Hi

Can anyone tell me what is the best kind of mouse
to use with a notebook, a wireless mouse or a wired mouse?

    Thanks

The most comfortable are wireless. However, for gaming, for best response time, you should get a wired one. If you go wireless, try to find a mouse with rechargeable batteries. The Logitech VX cordless is selling like hot bread right now (though im not sure if its really good or not :p)

I am using a VX nano for my notebook, overall i felt that it's good. It has a very small receiver which will not block the mouse movement near the laptop.

i'm using vx revolution and mx400 for my macbook pro (colour matching).

my only gripe with the revolution is the mini-receiver... its not a mini as the nano. with the nano; when you move the notebook; you dont have to take out the receiver, but the vx nano mouse might not be as comfortable as the vx revolution.

depends on preference really... i suggest getting something with user replaceable battery. then get sony refresh charger w/ LCD screen. that way you would nearly never ran out of battery.

a wireless mouse might be a better bet.. because of the mouse cord getting in the way is doubly so apparent when using a notebook (the distance between the mouse and the notebook is reather short so the cord will not have enough room to flex)

I've been looking into the Razer Pro|Click Mobile. It's made by the same people who make all the gaming mice like the copperhead and deathadder. It's not a gaming mouse in it's own sense, but it looks very nice to be. Plus, it's bluetooth so you don't have to worry about how big the receiver is :)

Yesterday i went down to my local dealer and decided
on the logitech mx400 as having tested it i really loved the
size and feel of it, unfortunately they were charging to much
for it £29.99 so i brought it off amazon.co.uk for £17.99

    Thanks for everybodies advice :)

Kensignton SlimBlade. Any of the six different mice in the "Slim Blade" category are great. They are confortable and also skinny to fit in your bag. I have one. It is very nice. Plus a 5-year warranty and some have a cord backup if your battery dies that "wraps up" inside.
