    Hi! :)
    So, I would like to change my mouse (actually Logitech VX) for a wired mouse that have a good precision in games.

    I have done some researchs and I found the best ones (I think!):

    Roccat Kone
    SteelSeries Ikari Laser Mouse
    Logitech G9x
    Razer Death adder

    Which one is the best in performances, comfortability and less CPU demandant? :confused: If you have other suggestions, Tell me!

    Also, what brand makes the best mouse surfaces for good precision?
    Thanks a lot!! :D

    Go for G9x , it's one of the best out there.

    CPU demanding? LOL it's a mouse! :D And btw, Razer Mamba for the win, I love it. :) I also bought $50 Razer surface and it feels really great.

    Yes CPU demanding. A 1000Hz mouse on an Intel C2D 6600 can peak at 55% of CPU usage.
    I will check for the Mamba!

    Wow... I never had anything like that usage. It doesn't seem right. In fact, I never saw any usage from Mamba configurator except when I was actually configuring it...

    I only used Logitech G7 and Mamba though.

    Out of that list, Razer Deathadder would be my pic, its a superb mouse, still debating with it and MX518 (more cause im used to the shape more).

    Razer DeathAdder all the way. You can adjust the polling rate between 125Hz and 1,000Hz if the CPU usage is too much, and it can go up to 3,500 DPI, with an optical sensor (which is smoother than laser for the most part) and a braided fiber cable.

    Highly subjective as each mouse will have a different feel. Personally I use both a G9 (predecessor to the G9x) and Ikari Laser and like them both. I'm not a fan of Razer as far as fit and flash blue-lit logos go.

    I only have experience with the Razer Deathadder but I also really enjoy using it. Great ergonomics (fits in my hand nicely) and it seems to be holding up quite well. As for the flashy backlit logo...just turn it off via the software. No complaints here.

    ^Since it can be turned off then that's not too bad. :)

    I've recently emerged from a mouse hunt and ended up getting the Gigabyte Ghost GM-M8000X off newegg.

    * max 6030 dpi
    * max accel 30 g
    * max spd 150 in/sec
    * 9 progammable buttons incl. 4-way scroll (specs wrong on Newegg)
    * 5 profiles

    This mouse has impressive specs, good ergonomics, and looks damn good but the reason I went w/ it is b/c I had read the software was better than most. I have no basis for comparison since this is the only gaming-grade mouse I have ever used, but I find that it allows me to do everything I want to and is easy to use. Along w/ many included functions, macros can be assigned to all buttons except the dpi toggle and mode switcher. Macros are either repeat fire, perform once, or loop control.

    One major negative for me, nearly a deal-breaker, was the shoddy 1-yr manufacture's warranty. That's not even 1 year after the date of purchase but instead the date it was made. Yuck!

    I own a Logitech MX518 and G9, and a Microsoft Habu.

    The Habu and MX518 are larger mice, and sit "higher". As in your hand will be arced if you palm it. The G9... doesn't really do that. It's a pretty flat mouse. I'm liking them all, really. I do think the Habu and MX518 fit my "feel" of a mouse, but I'm getting used to the G9, and the extras it has are pretty cool.

    I like longer, light, full hand mice:

    Logitech MX518: Tracks well, but I wore out the grips after a few years (1600 dpi optical)
    Logitech G5: Using this on my desktop with all the weights out (2000dpi laser)
    HP Voodoo(rebranded):Using this on my laptop (came with my G73) (3200dpi laser)

    All of them are very good full-hand mice. The voodoo is REALLY light and I'd switch it over to my desktop if I wasn't already so darn used to the logitech.

    Edit:
    G500 too
