i got the lapcool4 without the pci card slot, cuz my laptop already has that.

Seems kinda tough to make a decision about cooling pads, it seems like it's hit or miss for a good one for your certain laptop. -
Just need a WIDE, good sized, Aluminium one with decent fans, and a rear exhaust, not that complicated! sheez, why doesn't a company make a decent one and they would get 90% of the sales. -
Yeah I'm still not satisfied with the current coolers out there, guess I won't get one for now.

I might try my idea here, lol, maybe not: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=1376451#post1376451 -
ma2t, dont get lapcool3
they say its a waste of money
http://reviews.pimprig.com/cooling/vantec_lapcool3_notebook_cooler.php
they had this experiment where they put the laptop on the lapcool3, and then put the laptop on 4 bottle caps
the difference in temperature was 1 degree celcius... =/
if anything, you should get the lapcool2
its silent, its got a usb hub, you can adjust the fan, it can lower your laptop by 8 degree celcius, and imo, it looks cool
here's a review : http://pcmoddingmy.com/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.155.1 -
Plus, im not looking for USB hubs, I don't need that, and the fan adjuster... pointless. As even on max they are apparently very silent so I would be happy running on max 247. -
the black one, which is more espensive, has the usb hubs btw
and maybe you could put something underneath the cooler and set it at an angle so that itll blow out, i dunno -
So its a safe bet to get the Vantec LapCool4 when I buy the Sager 5760 (aka Clevo M570U) 17" Laptop?
-
noooo i hear lapcool4 is REALLY ineffective
-
Just a thought. wont the CoolerMaster Notepal W1 cover the front speakers of the z70va?

This notebook cooler here, does anyone feel they could make this for the cost of 80mm fans and a piece of metal.....
Wire the fans up to a USB cable to recieve 12v and ground....
I like this cooler because it is simple. -
there is this fanless laptop cooler..

anyone knows about it or has any experience with it?? -
Widescreen book here, an e1705 that heats up like a brick in the summer. What is the best cooler for it, keeping in mind that it sucks out heat through the bottom and that most heat exists on the right side?
edit- at this point I am leaning toward buying Bytecc or Lapidator (strictly a lap pad) for the purpose of using the e1705 from bed. Both solutions have gotten nothing but great reviews from more than one site. If anyone knows about these products, please share opinions. Also, how do both products compare in terms of cooling the machine? Which is better, you think?
Best notebook cooler out there? for widescreen notebooks
