Ok, so I gave up on my hunt for a suitcase/laptop bag so I'm just going to get a sleeve and stick it in the suitcase or carry on.

Now this is where I need help I have no idea which sleeve is going to offer the most protection for a 17'. Im looking for a sleeve thats going to fit nicely and protect it from a a 4-5ft drop if thats possible, though it probably won't go through any of that I just want to be prepared. thank you

There are plenty of pelican cases that can fit your laptop. When you put your laptop in that case, it's water proof, gas pressure proof, drop proof up to probably at least 10 feet.

SO boulder toss competition is out of the question? ;)

    EDIT

I bought the 17 in version so I'm going to assume it fits, if it doesn't my seller has a great return policy :)

Ok, update if you own a 17 in laptop chances are if its more then 2 in thick the zeroshock aint going to fit, yup learned it the hard way, well the good thing is it fits most of the way just the top won't close which isnt to bad ill just have that part sticking up, just thought u guys should know, buy the zeroshocks bigger then that of your laptop.
