    Im looking for a cheap set of speakers for my new computer. I dont need anything REALLY LOAD because im still at home right now, with a baby brother down the hallway. The only thing is, i need to get them from circuit city, (employee discout + some chritmas gift cards.)

    HERE all the computer speakers are...

    If you're actually going to run the extra speakers to a 'rear' position, get the 5.1 (and assuming your computer has the outputs for all of the speakers).

    The x240's aren't the best, but they are better than the other options in that price range. Personally, I'd get those.

    A basic speaker order:
    2.0 Bookshelves and Reciever ($3-400) >>> Swan M10 ($100) > Logitech x240 ($40)

    FYI, I did a $50 rebate on some Creative I-Trigue 3400's a year or two ago from Circuit City. I did recieve the rebate for what it is worth.

    The Logitech z-4 are pretty good for its price. I believe circuit city has them for $49.99 after rebate.
