Best solution for all day external portable monitor?

I have been using gechic's portable monitor with my laptop and it has been fantastic with my laptop

I am thinking of getting a 10 inch tablet however to become my main device and am worried it will not be able to power the external monitor and am looking to perhaps use

So I'm looking at getting another tablet to use as the external monitor and air display. I prefer wireless to wired but...Here are the things I am worried about.

    1. Lag/connection issues will make it unusable. Airdisplay might fail. Maybe wireless will fail. I know lenovo tried to make an external wireless portable monitor and heard that it failed.

    2. It will not be able to stand on its own when I want to use it as a screen, will fall down, and break. Maybe a rugged monitor or tablet would be better?

    3. It's screen will not be big enough. yes I know there is a galaxy note 12.2.

    4. Will not work with a low power atom bay trail.

So basically I see myself with
    1. Main device is 10 inch windows 8 tablet.
    2. Carry around a second thing. That thing will either be a portable external wireless monitor or a tablet with air display.
