This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     For my thread, I'm coming over from the Tablet PC realm for a brief spell:

    I've got an HP tx2500, which feels hardly as sturdy as my old Inspiron (with those oh-so-cute white bumpers, geez), but isn't made of porcelain, either. But I'll always be carrying it alongside at least one or two books that will outweigh my computer, guaranteed. So, any backpack-style bags out there, preferably under $70, that will really compartmentalize my computer without scratching up my lid, while protecting it from getting crushed inside?
