I have compaq v2000z which comes with a 18.5v 65w adapter. It's not big but I'd like to get a thinner one which could work with car jack, 220v and airplane outlet (what's does it call? is it the same for all airplane? most airplane would have the outlet?).
Hopefully, the adapter would work with my future lappy as well. I'm looking to buy the same size or smaller lappy in the next couple years (maybe a merom replacement or dual-core mature Turion).
    Any thought?

iGo makes a few models, that's the route I'd take. If you don't like them, Targus has one and possibly even Kensington too.
