I am looking to buy a pair of speakers to use with my laptop at my dorm.

Looking to spend no more than £15-£20.

I have narrowed it down to these two which seem decent.

    1) Logitech X-140 Multimedia Speakers

    2) Logitech OEM S220 2.1 Speakers

Which of these would you recommend?
Have any of you used these before?
Also, is there anything else better in this price range?

    Thanks

S220 will probably give you more punch since it has the sub. The X-140 looks like it probably will have better mids.

The X-140 just look like a less portable version of the V20's I used to have. Worked good to get better volume than the built in speakers, but not something I would consider a speaker system.

Definitely understand both of these are bottom of the barrel products, but of the two I think I would side with the S220.

    Thanks for the reply vicious

I know that these are low end, but I need something better than my laptop speakers.
I've never been a real audiophile so these should be ok for me, at least until I can save up for something better.

I'll go with the S220 then
