    Hey guys I'm in the market for some speakers for my laptop, non USB ones. What are the best ones for under $50? Thanks. :D

    Check newegg for some logitech 2.1 speakers. When I got mine 3 years back, they were 35 (~40 including tax in cali).

    Logitech S220 are excellent for the price and size. 2.1 setup for $30, can't beat that.

    In my own personal opinion, the best sounding computer speakers for the ~50$ range are the Edifier M3400 and the Altec Lansing VS2621; both have pretty good sound quality given what they are and how much they cost.
