I have a wireless USB mouse that had a battery explode in it and now it doesn't work. There is a bunch of white crystals inside, that i am assuming is the battery acid; what is the best way to get them out and hopefully salvage my mouse?

Smear your eye across it to remove any traces of rubbish... LOL

Try using a solution of baking soda in warm water. Use a Q-Tip to remove the white particles from the mouse being careful not to allow water to drip into the mouse itself. You only need to moisten the Q-Tip and allow the solution to soak into the battery acid that is dried up. Use a dry Q-Tip to mop up the goop that comes loose from the application of the solution.
Good luck!
Best way to remove dried battery acid from wireless USB mouse?
