A friend is going to be travelling a lot over the next few months and wanted to get 2 webcams for chatting with the family. What would everyone recommend. Computer knowledge is so-so, so want something that will be easy to set-up. Anyone check out the new Microsoft VX-7000 units and/or have feedback on the Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision ones?
Thanks

Creative Live Cam Voice. $99 bucks
At my job, we used those for a 3 location web conference. 1 in Los Angeles, one in New Jersey and one in San Fran. Before hand, one of my counterparts tested it out at work and the video looked pretty good. Its supposed to have a feature to block background noise if you use the voice feature. I cant say Ive tested it with yahoo or msn but the basic video looked pretty good. -
Logitech Messenger webcams are great for basic use and are quite cheap.

The logitech quick cam pro is hands down the best you can get for the money. I own one. Best cam ever.
