All I need is a microphone integrated (is this almost standard anyway?), no long-ass cords and if possible wireless. Suggestions?
Oh and I like to keep it around £40 ideally, but I'll go up to £50 if its really worth it.

I highly doubt that you will find a wireless webcam.

I have this Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000:

Very pleased with its performance on both skype and msn. Picture quality is excellent and sound is always in sync (unlike the more expensive microsoft cam that i bought and duely returned). -
I personally own the Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks Pro. I highly recommend it.

That should convert to be under £50 and its more than worth it.
Best webcam for under £50?
