Has anyone used BitTorrent 6.0 to extract Torrent files ?

Having downloaded BiTorrent files, i'm curious to know why the Status is still 0% Downloading on BitTorrent 6.0 once adding the files ?

Firstly, does one NET access to extract the files ? If not, then why does Status show DOWNLOADING instead of EXTRACTING ?

I added Torrent files couple of days ago, & status is still 0%

It is very likely that you havent set up your router firewall correctly. The ports that BitTorrent uses need to be opened, via your router management page.

BitTorrent does not extract files. In fact, a torrent file is not a compressed format of the file you wish to download. It provides the client program with information, on how to contact the tracker.

Once you've dragged the file into the BitTorrent window, you need to allow the file to download. It is not an extraction process.
