Last week I saw this awesome laptop skin and keyboards from a brand of which I can't recall the name.
Its some sort of wolf/sabre like logo, always in Blue. I think its a known gamer brand.
Can anyone tell me how its called?
edit: some guy in the store told me it was 'wocat' or something, I didn't understand him right I think.

Im very sure you are talking about the brand "Roccat" and it is very well known gaming brand

Thank you so much for your reply. I already ordered a keyboard (100€
, mousepad (20€
and laptopskin (23€
from Roccat ^^
Also just ordered a nice Razer Imperator to keep them company since I already got tired of my logitech g500 after 2 weeks -
^Wrong thread lol?
-
Just recieved my Roccat valo keyboard for 100€ and it sks. The buttons are positioned in a manner which makes u type the wrong buttons all the time. Oh and it registers like half the things you type: "so if I want to type this", this is my result: " so if I wan ot type ti" (this is really what I typed, without correcting all the mistakes).
worst spend 100€ ever. -
Sorry to hear that. It sounds like something's wrong with yours, though; I'm sure the keyboard isn't supposed to just not register keystrokes.
-
well i'm not the only one with this problem, quote: "The keyboard dropped approx 50% of all keys typed. We put the keyboard to the standard test of rolling our fingers across the keys from 1 to 0. Out of 10 attempts, the keyboard dropped nearly 50% of all keys. This is simply unacceptable."

Yeah.......I saw their full line up at a store and I wasn't too impressed. Their mouses felt kinda cheap.
-
Well, that doesn't sound too good.
Also, they sell Roccat in Canada? -
Ye their mice didn't appeal to me either. The Roccat Sota (mousepad) is realy nice though, makes my razer imperator and logitech g500 mice fly like jets ^^
I hope i'l get used to typing this hard eventually, even junk is hard to put away when you payed 100€ for it. Ofc I could always use this keyboard occasionaly to test my cpu and gpu load during gaming, but I don't see much further use for this keyboard. (you have no idea how it feels to retype every single word). -
You know you can return it back
-
you should ditch it while you can and get something better (there are tons out there).
this is modern technology age and no excuse of having something that lame
After you get your hand on something better, you'll feel great or at least better than now. I bet on it lol -
-
you can sell it on forums -
Mind you aside from the "blue" logo, I also saw another similar brand with a red logo, can't remember the name, their stuff didn't look/feel much better either. lol
I'd just try to sell the keyboard and recoup what you can get. Better than leaving it there collecting dust. -
-
Just return it. You may have to pay a restocking fee, but probably no more than 15%. They might waive it if you convince them it's a defective product.
For a similar keyboard in that price range, try the Razer BlackWidow. It's a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches. I guarantee you'll never complain about your typing experience on a keyboard like that. -
Just got a reply, they will give me a coupon for the same value so i'll be able to chose another keyboard, or something else ^^

Ghosting is basically the inability to hold multiple keys at the same time, usually in specific combinations. I've never heard of a keyboard with no ghosting issues at all...either way, it's definitely nothing like missing keystrokes when typing.
Try holding both of your Shift keys and typing "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" in Notepad. Odds are many of the keystrokes will fail to register...this is ghosting.
What key combinations did these ghosting issues occur in, devilcm3? I did a Google search, and from what I've been reading, it's the Lycosa that had some ghosting issues, which have apparently been resolved in the BlackWidow. -
Well if the lycosa has ghosting issues I have no idea what keyboard to buy then. They only have a limited range of keyboards at gamegear.be and I don't like the logitech keyboards at all.
Blue wolf gaming brand ?
