I've got a Fujitsu 3510 coming in the mail and I'm looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo that can handle ranges at least 12-15 feet without direct line-of-sight. Bluetooth seems to be my best option (30 foot range), but the model from Logitech I'm looking at, the MX/f - Bluetooth, requires usb and ps2 ports to be used (at least that's what I've read). I believe that my 3510 lacks a PS2 port.

Has anyone had experience with this model? Would I be able to use a PS2 to USB converter? Might this degrade performance? Or does anyone have any other suggestions of other models for me?

    Thanks!

I love logitech. Stick with them. If I am not mistaken the PS2 is just optional in case you don't have USB, that's how it was on the RF model.

Any way try their tech support thingy to ask questions. I once used it. I asked at 2am they answered me at 6am, talk about good customer service [ :D]

I've currently got the Bluetooth diNovo setup with my Acer TM8104 which has internal bluetooth. I have the bluetooth hub/mouse charger completel disconnected and am only using the internal bluetooth which is working fine. Only issue I've been having is configuring the Mediapad w/o the hub connected via USB. I think I might've messed up somewhere along the install process for Setpoint.

Also, the USB port is the only necessary one. PS/2 is just rendundant and I think is for desktops where the ONLY keyboard is the bluetooth one so that it can be used at bootup to enter BIOS etc.

Got it for under $150 with S&H (monarch computers) - MSRP $250 I think? It's well worth it. I love the mediapad. I haven't had a stereo w/a remote in years, and my computer has been my stereo for years now. It's so good!

I just replaced the Logitech MX with the MSFT solution. The Logitech takes up extra desk space, but you get a charger out of the deal. As a result it has a bunch of cables where the Microsoft solution has none. I did have more trouble with the Microsoft Bluetooth pairing with the CF card I have, I ended up having to use their dongle, but I'm much happier with the end solution.
