I want to purchase a Toshiba's bluetooth SD card and Microsoft's bluetooth mouse for my laptop soon.

Before i make this decision, (1) i want to make sure that once i have bluetooth sd card installed, the doogle which comes with microsoft's bluetooth mouse is not needed? (2) does bluetooth consume lots of battery life? let's say my battery will last 3 hours=180mins now. how long should i expect to have when bluetooth is enabled with bluetooth mouse. (3) is toshiba's bluetooth sd card any good?

I can't answer very well, but I have a Microsoft Intellimouse for Bluetooth and that works fine with my laptop's internal card, so I can certainly say that the MS peripherals don't have to be used with their own dongle. I don't think that Bluetooth is very power-intensitive, but I can't really give you decent figures there since I mostly use Bluetooth when on external power.

I just got the Microsoft Mouse and it works well with my built-in bluetooth. It's an extremely nice mouse that's very comfortable to use. As for the battery life, I've yet to see what it is myself, I had asked in a different thread but haven't received a response. I guess it just varies to how you use it. Depending on how that is, I may have to invest in some rechargables.
