1.Does anyone use a Bluetooth USB Adapter for their desktop or notebook? Which one do you use and does it work well? Or which one is highest rated?

2.For headsets has anyone used the S9 or jabra bt8010? I've been looking for a new headset for my computer, but with bluetooth I could use it for my phone as well.

3.Last question: Would I be able to connect my phone to internet if I connected it to my computer with the USB Adapter (since my comp is on internet?)

2.) I know there are a few people with the S9's around here. I personally just got the Plantronics 590A's and they are sooooo nice. perfect fit, way above average sound quality, great bass, and best of all for me they come with the adapter to use them with any audio device not just A2DP bluetooth devices.

3.) No unless you had some sort of program/software specifically made to do that.. but I have never heard of any but its not a standard BT function.

If you're using a desktop, you're going to have to use the USB adapter.

If you're using a laptop and it have an integrated bluetooth adapter, then use that instead. The USB dougle will cause a temporal lag and the range will not be as great.

I can get up to 60ft with my Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser by using my laptop bluetooth alone.. :)

I've got the S9's. I mostly use them when working out. I use a T-mobile dash as the source. I have a USB Bluetooth adapter but have been unable to get the thing to work on my PC (it was some cheap adapter from walmart) so I can't give impressions on that. If you do any sort of physical activity and would like bluetooth headphones, I highly recommend the S9's. The sound quality is actually quite good if you use the "bigger" inserts that come with (in the box). One other thing to note: I'm not sure if its the quality of my phone or the S9's or both, but one of my favorite things to do is set my phone on the side of the basketball court and throw on my headphones and practice away. I can go all over the court without any hiccups- very cool if you ask me.

Anyway, good luck with your search and feel free to ask any q's about the S9's...

Those are the 590E's not the 590A they do not come with the universal adapter thats the only difference.

If you get the 590A's they work with ANYTHING I am using them right now and they are connected to my headphone out of my computer, but I have used them with my home stereo system and my laptop too. Even better is for things that dont have an option for a bluetooth adapter like a Ipod they work.

I got mine from ecost.com for 80$ and I just did a indepth review of them, you just have to wait for the editors of the website to sort it out and post it for me.

80$ for these is a STEAL by the way so I would get them right away before that price changes MSRP is 250$

Like I said I have submitted the review but it has not been posted yet. Try ecost.com thats where I got mine, 80$ and like 17$ for 2 day shipping. So total cost was under 100$ and I had them right away.
