Ok, so if I have a bluetooth enabled car deck, my macbook pro which is bluetooth enabled. Can I connect the two somehow? I want this:
Laptop in a car connected to stereo playing whatever I am playing on the laptop to come through the speakers, no matter what application. EX:
I am in my car driving and my girlfriend is in the passenger side or friends in the back seat watching a movie on my laptop, I want the sound to come through the car speakers through the bluetooth connection. Then say the movie ends and they go into something like winamp and start playing music, I want the music to be played or streamed if you will through the bluetooth connection and the car speakers.
IS THIS POSSIBLE??? please help... I have been searching and searching and I can't find any information on this.

i was searching Google and found this stereo it says it can stream music from your laptop so there has to be a way -
Ya, but how do you do it in the software? Like after you pair the stereo and the laptop, how do you make the sounds go through the bluetooth connection?

If your stereo uses bluetooth 2.0 and supports a2dp, and if your laptop does as well, then it should be as easy as pairing them up as you would to a standard stereo bluetooth headset. Initiating the connection is possible through either the headunit itself (automatic once initially paired) or through the notebook's control of the bluetooth stack. Then, all notebook sounds should be transfered through to the bluetooth stereo and out the vehicle's speakers.
Here's a video I took of my sonyericsson phone working with a pioneer headunit. I know it's not the same thing you're trying to do, but it should give you a general idea of how it should work. http://youtube.com/watch?v=UkYpz4wer5M -

Addressing your original post again, yes it's possible to connect a notebook to a headunit to stream music. Bluetooth in general is very quirky though, there isn't a standardized driver so some combinations will not work.
Btw, you could test it out for yourself as well. For example, here in the states I just walked into a retail B&M electronics store that had the headunit i wanted, in a fully functioning display. I paired my phone up to the head unit and played my music through the headunit before purchasing the stereo. You could just walk into a similar store with your notebook and try it out on a display to see if it works the way you want it to. I'm sure the sales reps won't mind. -
