Those lil things that people have sticking out of their ear.. Can they double with the internal bluetooth in a laptop as a microphone?

works as a windows microphone and output device, so you can use it for anything from a gaming headset, to a voice chat mic, to a portable personal radio station with tunes playing on your notebook somewhere in the vicinity.

I'll take this is a step further now. I have my bluetooth earpiece (Jabra BT 180 I believe is the name without having it in front of me) that I use regularly with my cell phone.

I would like to be able to pair the earpiece with both my NP2090 and my phone. The goal would be to be able to switch back and forth by disabling bluetooth power on either the PC or the phone. Is this possible or would I need to repair the earpiece each time?

If it requires re-pairing each time I find it a better bet to get a second earpiece since I would not be able to pair the headset while on a call if I wanted to switch it back to the phone for a long phone call.

If your bluetooth earpiece can work with multiple profiles at one time, it should. My Moto HT-820 can handle multiple profiles at one time.
