I don't mean ctrl + and ctrl minus. I mean zoom in the screen even I am on say maple or another program. I just want to swipe or dial or something with a wireless mouse preferably so when I am using the laptop from a distance I can see things that are too small.

I think macs have a zoom in. I want something roughly like that but will work with any device or at least will work with a windows 8 laptop.

Thank you. That was very helpful. I used it today and I can zoom in 200%.

    But

I'm still looking for what I originally described :)

Cmon I've seen it before. Someone has a wireless touchpad with a keyboard and just spread/pinches to zoom I wanna do that. What do I have to buy in terms of laptop and wireless USB keyboard to do that?

I've got a logitech wireless touchpad (T650) that works for Windows 7 and 8, if that's what you're after? Works well for me, 13 different gestures for W8. Would recommend.
