    Hi guys,

Can someone recommend me a Bluetooth mouse? I know there are many review sites, but I have had a problem with a mouse previously. The mouse I'm talking about is the Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000, which is not bluetooth. That mouse had the most horrible mousewheel I ever used, because it doesn't "click" every time it moves.

Can someone recommend a relatively cheap, notebook-size, bluetooth mouse which has a "clicky" mousewheel?

    Thanks in advance.

The Microsoft Bluetooth v5000 mouse has a clicky wheel, and it works pretty well. I carry it with when traveling. The biggest drawback is that it's tiny, and long term usage makes my hand hurt. I also have a Sanwa Supply bluetooth mouse that's been pretty good for the whole week I've owned it so far. It actually fits in my hand, and is good enough precision and performance for me to play L4D2 with it. I can tell you for sure that any teamkills I've done with it are most certainly my fault ;)

I mentioned I didn't want an expensive mouse. This one goes for more than 70€, way WAY too much for a mouse.

That's a good recommendation, I'll try it out if I can find it in a store.

Good luck with that. The one I got is definitely a gray-market thing... there's almost no English on any of the packaging, only for trademarked terms like Bluetooth. Sorry for not checking your location info before saying that :(

I actually meant the Microsoft mouse recommendation. I liked everything on the 3000 series mouse except for the wheel, and the 5000 sounds like it will combine those advantages (especially the gripping surface for the thumb and the general form factor) with the Bluetooth connection and "clicky" wheel.

Being a Microsoft mouse, I'll probably be able to find it in a store. Thanks again for the tip!

The Dell 5-button Bluetooth Travel Mouse is my second favorite BT mouse so far, after my Orochi.

Thanks for that, was wanting to ask whether both mice require batteries or both have built in batteries that can charge with a USB cable perhaps? I've been looking for a BT mouse as well, would've liked an orochi but it requires batteries that and it's not worth the price their charging in AUD$

one bluetooth mouse that I know is using built-in battery and can be charged with usb cable is Microsoft Mobile bluetooth mouse 8000.
I don't know any other bluetooth mice that have those characteristics.

Both of the mice I referenced use 2 AAA batteries for power. I personally prefer a mouse with replaceable batteries because it doesn't have a limited lifetime then... an internal battery, you're going to get at most 3-4 years out of it before it stops holding a good charge, just like a laptop.

The Microsoft Notebook mouse 5000 is pretty good. I've had mine for a couple years and it performs very well for everyday mousing. Battery seems to last a good while aswell.

Aye. I've got one of those, I like it for traveling. But I hate using the thing all day long. Like I said, it's tiny, and my hand cramps ;)

I've since actually purchased the Orochi since I've found a shop in AUS which was selling it relatively cheap compared to original prices I found for shops in AUS. With about 2 weeks use I find it to be pretty comfortable, I think since I'm the type of person who doesn't clasp at their mouse still having pretty large hands I can comfortably play l4d2 for hours as an example of it's comfort.
