    Hi all,

bought my mom a Compaq Presario V3000 Core Duo laptop recently, and I'm now shopping for a bluetooth mouse to go with the laptop.

Was a bit disappointed when I took stock of the paucity of models on the market, and even more dismayed at what the shops around me carry :(

Anyway, I'm looking for a stylish, portable, comfortable bluetooth mouse with good battery life. Small mice are okay (mom has small/medium size hands).

Microsoft and Logitech are out because their mice are the size of SUVs - the MX1000 is as big as the AC adapter for the laptop :/

The Bluetake BT510 looks promising, and the grey version would go nicely with the Compaq. Pity I haven't foudn anyone carrying it.

So, can anyone recommend any small, comfortable and stylish Bluetooth mice, preferably not more than USD$50?

    Thanks,
    V.

The general BT mice market is very small, I'm also looking for a small one so it won't take up a USB port when im out and about, but after 5-6 months, still nothing that catches my eye.

i think you should give the logitech mx1000 a try (it's actually really light, and the battery will last 2 weeks on a single charge)

at first i thought it was big too but after just a day, using my old small mouse felt really small

you get used to the size real fast and the 7 buttons really are useful.

the BT mouse market is really small and there are few models out there

and you can always try for 30 days at futureshop before you refund

this logitech mouse is also small/medium size and i think looks very stylish

Hm...thanks for the heads-up on the V270 - didn't know they existed, and it fits right under my budget, too.

However, it looks like I'm going to be limited mainly by availability - most of the shops in my hometown don't carry bt mice. I'll shop around when I go back to KL next week, but even then, pickings might be slim.

It's as you said, the bt mouse market is a tiny niche.

    Cheers,
    V.

Logitech has some rather small mice as far as I know.

I have a V270 and it's awesome. 1000dpi, auto-sleep to conserve batteries, power switch on the bottom and a nice travel pouch are just some of the great features. I have never dropped a connection, even while gaming. It's a solid mouse at a reasonable price which can be delivered in days from Newegg.com. Just FYI, don't bother loading the included software, just have your computer bluetooth recognize it and you're good to go.
