This is my first post here. I did search but could not find any appropriate answers.
I have a TravelMate 4200AWLMi (Windows XP SP 2) and it has a Bluetooth switch on the front.
I use a plugin headset for Skype but would like to be free of the wires and today bought a Plantronics Explorer 220 Bluetooth Headset.
I charged the headset, and then set it in seek mode. I went to Control Panel and opened the Bluetooth Devices section.
I turned the headset on, and followed through the wizard to find a new device, but it is not detected.
I have also tried switching the switch on the front of my laptop, but it just says "No Bluetooth Device".
Is there anything obvious I am missing?

So sorry i couldn't help it as i just stumbled across this pic. Do you have any other bluetooth devices (cellphone, gps,...) that you could try to have detected by your pc. If it can't find any device then i'd try reinstalling your bluetooth on the pc. -
Hmmm, I never installed it in the first place, I guess that I should try that first huh?
