    Budget audio set up for laptop???

    Im looking to buy a laptop for university and have a bagful of music to play from download so was looking for some advice as to how i can create some crisp noise on a budget... so any laptop recomendations for a start????audio wise...have been reading forum after forum and thinking about going down the road of buying seperate soundcard and monitor speakers (maybe the Swan M200 2CH if they ship to the U.K) but what sound card on a budget would suit best?????or is there competitiors to the Swan M200 2CH...any advice for a COMPLETE NOVICE would be cracking!!!!!

    I would not bother with a external soundcard until you have a chance to test out some external speakers with the laptop's internal audio. You really need a good 2.1 system if you expect good qulaity full spectrum sound. Look at the Logitech Z2300.
