After looking at this thre ad below, I've decided to attempt to make my own notebook cooler. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=286894

My laptop that I expect to arrive sometime on Saturday or Monday, is the HDX18T. I've read many threads on notebook coolers like the NYXT Cyro and Antec and etcs and decided to build my own notebook cooler not because my wallet is also sick at the moment but because it's more effective.

I was going to buy the Notebook Stand from Rubbermaid at wallmart (Also sold under the name Rolodex)
but it seems too small to fit a 18.4 inch laptop. I was also going to buy 3 Antec 120mm fans and use a ac adaptor (12V probabaly) but couldn't figure out how I would stick all three fans into one adaptor (would I have to get 3?). I am considering ditching this whole project I had thought about a while ago because I couldn't find an affordable notebook stand for 18.4" laptops plus I had no access to a soldering machine. Does anyone know an affordable notebook stand for 18.4 laptops and/or know how to combie 3 120mm fans into one ac adaptor? Please help ;)

buy a 380watt raidmax power supply from newegg for $15 and short out the green wire to make it run without the motherboard connected. I got 3 80mm rosewill fans running off of it and trust me..THEY THROW ALOT OF AIR. I used this guys guide except my fans are pluged into a power supply amking them run at full speed(43.5 CFM)
