Burton The White Collection

So I was just surfing some threads on these forums for some backpack and I came accross the burton. Looks really good. But I couldn't find anybody who has one. Couldn't find a review either. If anybody has one, please let me know what you think about it

BTW guys, if I order one, should I get the black or white color one?

I ordered one last friday. The white one. I'm actually thinking of writing a full review when it arrives. I'll let you know.

I ordered the other day, too. i went with the black one because the white one's a bit too flashy for me and the brown one was just plain ugly.

The Wenger MAXXUM didn't fit

 

That's funny. I'm looking into getting one myself. The only thing that I'm hesitant towards is the price. A little higher than I really want to spend. But if it's worth it... Who knows...

 

Alrite screw it. I'm going to order it. It looks so damn sexy...I can't wait to hold it in my hands and carress it. Oh god please hurry up and bring that Sager to me. And while i'm waiting i'll order that damn fine lookin razer copperhead.

 

I ordered through ebags and I have to say they are the worst I've had at order processing. I ordered it over a week ago and even called yesterday about them needing to ship it off to me. They said that they would file a request form on monday if it hadn't shipped yet... I want my pack.

 

So did anybody get theirs yet? The Burton White Collection backpack? Some pics and a short little review would be nice.

 

I got mine (black) but it doesn't fit the 1520 in the designated laptop sleeve portion - grr! I wish when I had put my dimensions into the "will my laptop fit" portion of ebags site that they would have considered those dimensions for the laptop area instead of the bag area itself.

I'm pretty busy over the next few days so I'll post a review with pictures when I can.

I agree that ebags order processing sucks. I ordered on the 2nd, then called on the 10th because I hadn't received a tracking number or anything on my order status screen other than "submitted to warehouse". No change on the 11th, then the 12th said "delivered". I went home and it wasn't there. Turns out UPS delivered to my neighbor. Good thing he likes me.

Look to this thread for a review when I get a chance. FYI - the internal fabric on the black is zebra striped. Kinda...ehhh...femmy?

Well it should fit though shouldn't it? I took a look at the Bag dimensions and then the 1520 dimensions, it seemed to be in range. Unless i'm looking at it wrong. In that case I hope my NP2090 fits.

 

It fits in the bag, just not in the area of the bag that seems to be meant for a laptop. It fits in the main compartment instead. It does look pretty slick (i.e. - doesn't look like a laptop bag).

I'll try to look more at it tonight but I have a date and I'd rather concentrate on her

Nike SB backpack *****es. Fer real it works really good for my board and my vostro 1500 with 9cell battery.

 

I'm a friggin idiot! I took a two second look at it last night and didn't realize the laptop slides in from the side. It fits great, even with the nine cell battery.

Haha I didn't mean ho as in a real ho haha. I just meant a ho as in a girl friend(not GF), and a bro as in a guy friend(not BF).

BTW thanks for the pics. I want mine right now! Haha but I'll just have to wait. The pictures look great. Can I get a pic of it on you, or on somebody? I wanna see how big the thing looks.

I'm not necessarily gonna be filling this thing to the max it can hold. Only carrying my laptop, if I need it, and like 2 or 3 notebooks, maybe a binder or 2, and probably 0 books lol. I don't like putting too much weight on myself.

I wonder if the White one looks just as good? Because my friend bought it for me for my birthday, so I don't really know.

Speaking of funny, I'd feel a bit weird having someone take my picture with me wearing the backpack but I can say that I'm surprisingly happy with the overall size of it. It takes up most of my back (I'm 5'9" and all torso) but it doesn't look misproportioned at all. I wore it in to work today and it has a comfortable, secure feel while I'm wearing it.

The only thing I've found that I'm bummed about so far are minor. I wish it had a mesh sleeve on the outside designed to hold a bottle of water, and it doesn't seem to have a pocket/compartment which is designed for holding something the size of a CD jewel case. Both minor, like I said, but they would've brought the bag up to a higher level of satisfaction.

It does have pockets everywhere, though. I'm really happy with the "side loading laptop" feature and I was also very pleased to find that they put a small quick-access zipper pack on the top (for my mouse and such).

 

Oh I guess it will fit fine on me too then. I'm like 5'10". I don't like my backpacks touching my ass though haha. Feels wierd.

I wrote a full review with pics about mine and submitted it to "Andrew" on the 12th. He still hasn't posted it up though. I'll send him an email and see what's up.
