I just bought the Dell XPS m1530 laptop (15.4'').

What is a good laptop backpack or brand?
I was thinking high sierra and targus but i am open to suggestions.

I have been told that SwissGear Synergy Backpack is a good option.

I have the Targus Campus XL, it's good but it's too big (I got the 17" version, XL :p)

I have an M1530 and I got the Swiss Gear Synergy. It's a great backpack. Only thing is that it is a bit big and heavy, but once it's on your back, it is very comfortable. The M1530 fits great into the laptop compartment as well.

The Swiss Gear Synergy is indeed a good option to consider. You could also look at The North Face - Recon and The North Face - Surge backpacks. High Sierra also makes good backpacks. Check out the High Sierra Access and Swerve models.

Targus makes some pretty good bags.
