So I want to buy a new mouse for gaming and when Im in fron of my laptop for long periods of time. I was thinking about getting about the Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse, Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000, Logitech VX Revolution and or the Logitech VX Nano.

Also since my old Acer laptop is now longer working I was thinking about getting a 2.5-inch hard drive enclosure for the 120 GB hard drive that I want to use with my new Macbook Pro. I was thinking about getting either this one http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3227053&CatId=2781 or this one http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3921332&CatId=2781

I have both the VX Revolution and the VX Nano. Both are very good, but the Nano is to small for me to use full time. The quality of these mice (and hopefully the other two) is so high, that the selection should be based on how it fits in your hand than anything else.

If you do any serious gaming, you may want to consider getting a wired laser mouse.

I personally own 2 mouses for my laptop. a Logitech G9 for home and gaming use, and a now broken Logitech VX which I am sondering replacing with a Nano.

I used to try gaming with my wireless portable mouse, but it wasn't comfortable for long gaming sessions and honestly, I got owned too much.

    QFT.

They are pricey but worth it. Logitech G9 or Steelseries Ikari.

    QFT x 2

Wireless has a host of problems, like signal interference, batteries, response, ect.

MX518 is a solid and relatively cheap gaming mouse. Almost everyone I know who is serious about gaming owns one. Back when I got it, laser technology just wasn't quite on par with optical with their glitches, not sure how it is now though.

+1 for MX518. Also look at the Razer Diamondback 3G or Copperhead.
