After 15 years on Macs, I am buying a new Windows gaming laptop. I just figure out I have no gaming mouse and have no idea of what to buy since I am so many years without playing on a PC.

I don't like wireless mouses since I am too lazy for changing and recharging batteries.

Please give me some advice. I want the best mouse possible.

    Thank you!

Might depend on what kind of games you play. There are some made for certain types like MOBAs.

If you're looking for something simple, I have a Corsair Sabre that has done pretty well for me. Generally though it seems like the consensus falls with Logitech for mouse quality.

I pretty much play FPS games, but now I am looking to play strategy games like Frostpunk and also some simulators. So I think I need something general. Not sure what model to get.

Which one is best: Logitech G Pro or Logitech G502? They are almost same price on Amazon.

I think it I were in the market right now I'd go for the 502, it is much more full featured and has better performance overall.

They have the same sensor, G502 just weighs 50% more so G Pro is better for FPS games.

You're right, I thought they had different ones from when I tried them out but looks like that's not the case.. Didn't think the weight difference would have been enough to affect my aim, but I also didn't use either for gaming.

If you were shopping for a new overall gaming mouse, which one you think you would buy today?

    Probably a G900 or G903.

Does any of you guys own or use the Logitech G903 when playing FPS games? People over the internet are saying it's a wonderful mouse but not good for FPS since it's too heavy (?).

I <3 my Logitech G400s mouse. It's not the fanciest, but I like its shape and it's got everything I need as far as features go. Not sure if they make them anymore though and I'm not sure I am as big a fan of the shape of some of the newer generation options. Hopefully spilling a bit of coffee on my mousepad won't kill it prematurely, lol :p. It's still going strong. :)

I have a G900, which is the G903 without wireless charging capability, but I don't use it for FPS gaming because I prefer the weight distribution and shape of the G403 wireless instead.

For overall gaming, the 502 for sure, but I have had such good luck with my Sabre I might be tempted to stick with Corsair. For FPS, probably something lighter.

G403, G703 and G900 are all the best choices these days. G502 is uncomfortable with that weird button in the middle of the mouse.
