Hey guys, so I was browsing the Internet for notebook coolers and found this beast, the CM Storm SF 19 Strikeforce Notebook Cooler. However it's doesn't seem to be on sale anywhere in the UK. So I was wondering if anyone had any great alternatives or secret sites I have missed?

    Thanks.

Yeah forget getting that.. Your best bet is a modded Notepal U3 to be honest... Others are just borderline useless..

Amazon doesn't ship to the UK? I have this for my lappy, and I really only like it because it lifts up the back of the pc. It does move air, but I never go above 85 while gaming, and while just surfing net its about 46-55

Yeah its just not available in the UK at all and even if it is, its like £80-100 which is absurd.. If OP is getting GT72 as he says, he doesn't need it anyways...

I'm currently using the strikeforce but the fans on it stopped working after a few weeks :(

I have my GT72, the temperatures are amazing ha, the fans never hit max and temps while gaming are around 60C for GPU and CPU. I wanted the fan cooler for maybe some overclocking and also thinking that the cooler, the better. But with these kind of temperatures I don't think I really need it unless I am looking to spend money.

I really want it, because I think it looks amazing and reduce temperatures by 10C on a Macbook. But I guess it depends where the vents are, and judging by Tom's comment, the GT72 is just made so perfect in terms of cooling?

I do have a notepal U3, and I modded it so that I was not as restricted with fan placement. But it does look kind of basic, hence why I'd like a CM Storm SF, as they look amazing to me.

Again, you guys are right, the cooler is no where to be found in the UK. I did search on Amazon UK but the only one is ludicrously expensive. Can I order from Murica' if I am that desperate?

Sucks to here that about your fans Sab. :/

Honestly, I wouldn't risk doing that as if the product is discontinued and fails, you'll be in a soup...

Thanks Tom, as much as I like the SF, it's not worth the risk. Have you any idea how much it would reduce temps if at all?

Maybe I'll buy it if I am just looking to add.

I doubt it will help much and honestly with that MSI, you don't need to reduce temps.. it will already be running very cool.. I'd say 2 bottlecaps or U3 will be enough if you want to bother.. The SF-19 won't help much more tbh...
