Looking for a Good Notebook Sleeve, and something that gives coverage on all sides.

I have seen ones that zip around the notebook and you can leave the sleeve on while using the computer. Any idea who makes these?

    Thanks

    i have two choices...

http://www.crumplerbags.com/Cart/index.php?catId=5 ---- i like this because it has a lot of color choices. so if you like to have a not so boring looking bag, this is it. it has Super soft 1.2mm PVC outer shell. Hard plastic central layer.
Light foam inner padding and brushed nylon lining. it also has a Self healing medium size zipper and Internal PVC zip guard.

second choice i got was the zeroshock notebook sleeve by shinza. http://shinza.com/index.php?osCsid=1c2721e76d85ae822371b93c09dd4fde
it got a really good review and you can read it for yourself. in fact i got this idea from one of the threads on this site. i like how the design is simple and yet the protection is superb!!! read this... http://shinza.com/product_info.php?products_id=22

    hope i helped (^_^)

I just got the Sumdex 15.4" notebook sleeve, and I already like it. It's thin and light, with about 0.5-0.7 cm of the special foam stuff on each side, and it looks really nice. Best of all, it's at newegg for $17.

I just got a sumdex impact guard with the "memory foam" padding. If you want, you can check it here :D It's similar to the shinza, though i'm not sure how soft or hard the shinza is.

I have one of those zeroshock cases for my 12.1" averatec and I love it. If only they made a 14.1" version for my dv2000...

sumdex has an "ImpactGuard" for 14.1" laptops http://sumdex.com/core/PUN-854.asp
they use memory foam too, and i can vouch for it being well padded, though it's firm at first touch and gets soft if you touch it. I'm not sure if the shinza's are the same but i would assume that they are

Depending on the size of the laptop, the 15" Widescreen Sleeve will fit many 14.1" notebooks. I know it fits the Asus W3J and the Compal HGL30. Not sure about the dv2000.

Ironically enough, that 15" sleeve does *not* fit well my HP Pavilion zv6000, which is too thick. *groans*

No way. $78 for a sleeve is theft, I don't care if it's made of bomb-proof material from planet Altair IV.

you could always go to the manufacturer website, or some vendor that has it to check the specifications. Either way, that sumdex sleeve which is a shinza with handles minus the tres chouette et chic factor.

I use a Sumdex with the impactguard foam for my Dell 700m. It offers good protection in a nice small, simple package. I wish I had addtl foam covers for my wireless mouse, adapters, and CD's. Hopefully I can find something at the flea market for carrying around these items.
