Had my studio 17 for a few months now. working perfectly. Just wanted to know if anyone could recommend me a good mouse to use with the studio 17?
I'll be using some 3D modelling software and playing age of empires on the laptop quite a bit so really need one now.

Currently looking at the Logitech V470 and the Logitech VX Nano but I prefer to find out some user opinions before buying anything.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

Bluetooth or with a USB reciever?

if you're okay with a USB reciever, Logitech MX Revolution is fantastic, if a bit DPI-challenged.

I would prefer one without a reciever or, like the VX Nano, a tiny reciever. So i guess a preferance for a bluetooth one, depending on the reciever size.

I love my Logitech Ci75m for when I am mobile and my Mx518 for extended periods/heavy work. The Ci has saved my butt a couple of times when the batteries went out...love the built-in mini-usb cable. It isn't the ritziest of mice, but it is a great size and price.

I use a kensington slimblade media mouse it hasn't failed me yet and the usb receiver is nice and small. Overall it's a good mouse for it's price.

The VX Nano is very nice, I've been using it with my Studio 15. The small receiver is also great because you really can't damage it transporting it which has happened to a few USB drives I have forgotten about before being reckless with my notebooks. There is really no way you can bend it while it is plugged in. The mouse itself has great functionality with the dual mode scroll wheel and other functional buttons.
