This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Can head mounted displays mmimic multiple monitors/large monitors?

    I think my ideal setup eventually will have massive screens/multiple screens. Seems like it would be great for gaming and going on certain gentlemanly websites. Or regular movies I guess.

    But lately with what I've been hearing about avegant glyph and sony head moutned display .... perhaps can that display simulate having multliple monitors? Ex: have only one monitor but when you put on the head mount you see like 6 monitors?

    It seems like a head mounted display would be more portable than 6 monitors...
