It's an XPS 15, the dimensions are 15x10x1.3-2.2. I checked out Amazon and reading the reviews for 15" backpacks it seems none of them can securely fit something of this size. The only one I'm even considering now is the one Dell offered when I ordered the laptop (Wenger Legacy). Is there anything better? Max I'm willing to spend is $60

Wenger Synergy. Any 17'' should fit.

^ I know it's well recommended but according to reviews a 15x10 will be up against the zipper. So I guess I should be looking at 17" bags huh..

Buy a 17'' backpack. Usually when a manufacturer says "up to" 17 inches they mean that the laptop will just barely fit. The actual padded sleeve will probably cut off at the 15'' mark.

I have both the synergy and legacy, however I use it for slimmer laptops like the t410 and envy 14. Works fine for my uses. However, they have a bit of bulk when empty.

I have the Wenger Synergy and have been using it for the past 2 years. Its a GREAT backpack. Extremely durable and with good padding for your laptop. It has plenty of room for everything else you need and it has that "I'm built like a tank" Wenger look. =D

    +1 for Wenger/Swissgear packs.

I've had 3 types of these bags and they are the most comfortable, spacious, and durable backpacks you can buy at a reasonable price. They're worth every cent.

As for messenger bags, I've also had a good experience with OGIO, but they don't hold up as well as wenger bags.

synce, our new KAMPUS and StovePipe backpacks are 16", specifically designed for 15.6" and 16" laptops. I hope this helps
