I just bought a xbox 360 wireless controller and reciever, and I am having a few problems with it. First of all, installing the drivers caused system instability. I plan on dealing with that later. The main two things I want to do with it are: play TESIV: Oblivion with it, and browse my desktop with it, using the right analog as the mouse etc. However, due to the aforementioned instability, I cannot even get oblivion to open without the whole laptop crashing. It worked fine before, so I know that the new drivers are to blame. However, the main thing I want to do with it is browse the desktop. I heard you need 3rd party apps for this. Could someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find these apps? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm going to try system restore to deal with the instability.
