A good one is about 70$ A decent one can be 40-50$ I have not seen anything online that really is better than what you can get in the stores (price or quality) so I would just go to walmart or something and get one with a wattage and options you need.

    Check this site out:
Northern Tool has great prices on Vector power inverters.
Vector is a leader in power inverters, they have been doing it for 18 years, they know what they are doing.
The one I linked you to is 400 watts, and peaks at 800. It is enough to power my desktop replacement, and mine takes 320 watts from the wall. I have had my inverter for 3 years, and have had no problems. Simply plugs into the cigarette lighter, and you have instant 120volt ac power.
Unfortunately 3 years ago, this same item cost me $80.
Now its only $40, so its probably the best inverter for the money.

400w from the cigarette lighter?? I think that kind connects to your battery (even in the picture I see the crimps to connect to battery terminals) the ones for the cigarette lighter are lower wattage. That much power would blow a fuse.

Plus wow 320w for your laptop? My C90 only uses 90w and its a full fledged DTR aswell.

I got a 450 watt, it plugs into the cigaratte lighter and powers my 150 watt XPS fine.

I own the unit I linked you two. It has the ability to make 120v AC off of a 12 volt battery. I guarantee you it comes with the hookups for the cigarette lighter. It even says it lower on the page. It provides more than enough power for many different tech toys which you need to charge when you are on the run. It also has a built in overload protection system, so it simply will sound a beeping noise and not supply any power when too much current is being drawn. It is really a good feature, which ensures long life from your power inverter.
