    Like what Vespoli said, I'd suggest a inverter; they are cheap and you can power your other accessories too.

    Get a power inverter that supports AT LEAST the wattage of the power supply you will be using (for instance, 65W or 90W depending which brick you have for your T61). If you plan on gaming or doing any high power draw activities, I would estimate up to 20% over that. So if you were gaming on your T61 with the 90W adapter, I'd get at least a 110W inverter. The reality is that there are losses and inefficiencies in the inverter and if you're drawing lots of current, it may not be able to keep up.
