    Hi guys,

    I am looking for a carrying case/bag for a 15.6" Sager laptop.
    I want to following:
    -Shoulder carry
    -Opens like a suitcase
-A compartment for a power brick and mouse that does not involve the two being placed over the laptop itself. Something like the following picture would be nice. Movable dividers would be awesome (if they exist).

    1. Laptop
    2. Power brick
    3. Mouse/other

-A slim compartment for some papers and maybe a pen or two.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Well, the iM2370 is rather overkill but it might be what you want.

The Deluxe version ships with a double-decker divider which allows you to put a largeish 15" notebook on top secured by a strap, two compartments underneath with cubed foam, and a separate compartment on the right hand side. Inside the lid can be configured with either an expandable organiser insert (like a traditional briefcase) or a foam top.

The 1495CC1 is a Pelican-original (the 2370 was designed by Hardigg, who Pelican took over) equivalent

Warning: While both are seriously durable, both are pretty heavy.

The iM2370 looks like a case for vials of deadly chemicals like in the movies. :p

In any case, they look good, but something lighter would be nice. I don't need something super durable or hard case necessarily.

I actually do use it to carry a compact sidearm along with a notebook when I can't carry it on my person or in a bag holster, but yes - it's not exactly designed for everyday portage, though I know some do use it for just that purpose - a better rush-hour-public-transport-battering-ram you could not ask for :D

You could look at the more compact, single-decker Pelican laptop cases I guess. They'll be on the site.

If you don't mind a soft case, I guess the Targus Platinum Blacktop 17” Standard
should be a contender, though it's as stylish as... well, something not at all stylish.

Depends really on what sort of style you're looking for I guess - I mean, I can recommend Glaser in the US for accommodating reasonable requests for your own spec of storage pockets for example, but don't expect any such bag to come in under $1K. And personally, for everyday portage I prefer a backpack for any 15" class machine upwards - less fatiguing.

Depends on the price, design and quality of the material. If you don't care that much, go look at samsonite laptop carry bags :)
